Research-based ideas
to help kids thrive
The Memberships are the natural next step to take many of the strategies discussed in the podcast into your home, your family, with your own goals in mind. And while over the years I've had a number of workshops and other courses, the Memberships are definitively the best way to effect real, meaningful & positive change towards arriving at the solutions you need.
KNOWLEDGE + SUPPORT + COMMUNITY
While I have also offered workshops and courses, the Membership is truly the most impactful way to help us become the best parents we can be, and get to the solutions we need on any given day regardless of whatever parenting struggle we find ourselves.
The keys pillars of Membership include:
i. THE RIGHT KNOWLEDGE SERVED ON A CUSTOM LEARNING PLATFORM
ii. SUPPORT TO GET UNSTUCK
iii. LIKE-MINDED COMMUNITY WHO VALUE RESEARCH & RESPECT

Without Having to Get One Yourself
There's no lack of information about parenting online - it's just a clickbait headline away. When Jen started the podcast, she longed for useful information she and her husband could trust - but she realized that much of it could only be found behind journal paywalls. Through the course of getting two additional Master's degrees (Psychology focused on Child Development and Education), two main principles have since guided her work with the podcast, that has translated directly over to the memberships:
1. Scientific Research
- Jen looks across the entire body of research on a topic. She's read hundreds of books and thousands of peer-reviewed journal articles on parenting and child development, and connected ideas across topic areas in a way that few others have done (did you know that research on why children won't eat vegetables can help get your child's homework done?).
- Jen points to the strengths of the research, as well as its limitations. She calls out the biases in how the research was shaped, conducted and analyzed, and discuss how these issues may have influenced the results. She also looks at topics where academic research may not be the best way to understand our experience.
- Jen interviews the researchers who are deep experts in their specific field. She asks them the the questions parents wish they could ask, and doesn't hesitate to question discrepancies or challenge their conclusions.
2. Respectful Parenting
Societal problems are perpetuated through the way we raise our children. Our interactions with our children today (teaching them about race (or not…); telling our boys to “stop crying;” telling our girls to “stop being loud” shapes how they will treat others and expect to be treated in relationships.
If we want our children to be part of solving the world’s problems, we need to equip them with the leadership skills to do this.
...Beyond the Research and Principles...
But all the research in the world doesn't help much if you can't see how to apply it. I've also taken 100 hours of training to become a Co-Active Coach, and a nine-month course on holding space. When I interact with you I'll help you to brainstorm ideas, if that's what you need.
But through listening to you like maybe nobody has ever listened to you before, I'll also help you to see what's really at the heart of the issue for you so you can make shifts in yourself and your relationship with your children that you could never have imagined were possible.

The Promise is Simple
Follow the program, watch the Q&As, and and ask your questions in our private community.
The "Fewer Tantrums in 90 Days Guarantee" (Parenting Membership)
If your child isn't having fewer tantrums in 90 days (by which you'll also be communicating better with your partner and will feel like you're actually heading in the same direction together), I'll give you your money back.
The "Feel Confident About Your Child's Learning in 90 Days Guarantee"
I'm so sure that you'll fall in love with the intentional community of parents inside the Learning Membership, and that you'll learn what you need to start feeling confident about your role in supporting your child's learning in the first 90 days of your membership that I'll guarantee it
Why am I so confident in doing this? Because i've seen the results. Not just with parents who are 'doing pretty well,' but even parents who feel like things are falling apart every single day are going to see improvement through the Parenting Membership.
Parents who join the Supporting Your Child's Learning become less stressed about helping their child to "keep up" and engage with learning that's boring and frustrating and doesn't engage the child's interests. They gain the skills and confidence they need to know on a deep level that they are capable of teaching their child.

Perfect Together, But Will Also Get You Solutions On Their Own
Parents often ask me which membership I recommend, which depends on your situation. They are designed to complement each other: they are both grounded in a deep respect for children's autonomy and competence.
The specific skills you'll learn in each will support the other as well: the Listening module in the Learning membership is actually a foundational parenting skill. And tools like Supporting Sibling Relationships and Supporting Anxious Children that you'll learn in the Parenting membership will make being their learning guide much easier.
PARENTING MEMBERSHIP
Support your child's development, while making parenting easier
If you have a child aged ~ 1-6 and things just seem HARD, the Parenting Membership will transform your family life. Perfect for parents, spouses, caregivers and even grandparents - a gift for the whole family.
LEARNING MEMBERSHIP
Helping to support your child's intrinsic love of learning
Perfect for parents, caregivers, teachers and pandemic pod leaders - whether you are homeschooling, thinking of homeschooling, doing Zoom-School or attending school in person.
